Tomorrow, 25 June, every donation to Hato Hone St John's Light the Way annual appeal will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Light the Way Giving Day aims to raise $1 million to support 10 critical ambulance station projects - including the Nelson Tasman Ambulance Hub. Every dollar donated will be matched by a group of generous supporters, doubling the impact to $2 million and helping fund new stations, upgrades and essential repairs. The Nelson region continues to grow, and with it, the demand for ambulance services. But the current facilities are no longer able to properly support the needs of frontline crews or the communities they care for. Hato Hone St John are working toward a new Nelson Tasman Ambulance Station that will bring crews and volunteers together under one roof, helping improve coordination, support crew wellbeing, and strengthen emergency response across the region.
